One of my passions is live theatre. I have such a belief in this art form, the effect it has on audiences and the very business itself. It saddens me that conditions are so tough for it, and that it appears to be recessive to other entertainments available today.
It is my ambition to produce commercially successful live theatre in London and Scotland.
I have been involved with the performing arts from a young age, particularly in musical theatre working extensively with local theatre and youth theatre groups in North Berwick, Scotland, and with ICU MTSoc since moving to London.
After my early performing years I spent some time in technical theatre, helping to crew and stage manage productions. However I was tempted back on to the stage to play the roles of Curly in "Oklahoma!", Tony in "West Side Story", Doody in "Grease" and Louis in "Personals".
Since then, I have gravitated towards the production side, writing and directing two Musical Revues and producing and directing "Chess" with ICU MTSoc.
I recently participated in a series of National Student Drama Festival workshops held in London and worked as a crew member at the Pleasance Courtyard during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2005.
